Job Position: Specialist, Salary Payment
Job Location: Lagos
Job Schedule: Full time
Job Objective(s)
To ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and allowances by initiating payroll runs while ensuring all parametres are activated to carry out payments.
Duties & Responsibilities
Setting up of staff details on PFMS for payment purpose.
Cross-check information before crediting salary in employee’s bank accounts. This allows you to identify errors and adjust them before salary payment.
Creation and setting up all pay elements as detailed on pay slips
communicates with external contacts to resolve complicated payroll issues
Monthly payroll processing.
Monthly costing of payments to various cost centers.
Daily leave payroll processing.
Weekly leave payment costing processing.
Quarterly payroll/costing processing.
Annual payroll/costing to various cost centers
Ad-hoc payment/costing processing e.g. Promotion arrears, PFP, bonuses e.t.c.
Report generation from Finacle and PFMS on request by Stake holders
Using TTUM application for upload.
Handle and attend to all payroll enquiries.

Review promotion arrears and notch increment
Collaboration with Application Solutions and IT infrastructure Department for resolution of any system challenge that could hinder excellent service delivery.
Other duties as assigned by the Head of the Unit.
As part of the Bank’s Information Security requirements, maintain the security of all Information entrusted to the staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook
Seek approvals when necessary from CBN as regards Transactions
Maintains and update customer utilization registers for customer’s USD line
Account Proofing
Ensure Transactions are flown through the FSS workflow
Job Requirements
Education:
Minimum Education: First Degree in any discipline
Experience:
Minimum experience – 1 year working experience in foreign operations
